Call for papers
We invite abstracts for the fourth international conference on Bilingualism in the Hispanic and Lusophone world (BHL), which will take place at Colegio de Lingüística y Literatura Hispánica, Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (Puebla, Mexico) on January 10-12, 2024.
BHL is a biannual international conference (Leiden University, The Netherlands, 2015, 2019; Florida State University, USA, 2017) that brings together researchers working on different aspects of bilingualism/multilingualism in the Hispanic and Lusophone world to share new insights regarding methodology and extend and strengthen the dialogue on furthering our understanding of bilingualism/multilingualism. Hence, BHL is dedicated to research in any area related to bilingualism/multilingualism, including theoretical linguistics, sociolinguistics, language contact, second language and bilingual/multilingual acquisition, heritage languages, and psycholinguistics. By bringing together researchers from different perspectives we hope to be able to share new insights regarding methodology and get a better understanding of bilingualism/multilingualism.
