Within the framework of the LANGUAGE TREE project, we are pleased to announce that the 2. International Symposium on Teaching Turkish as a Heritage and Foreign Language will be held by by the Association of Turkish Teaching as a Foreign Language (YADOT) and will take place at Istanbul Bilgi University on September 21–22, 2024 in Istanbul.
We are inviting proposals for papers, posters and panels on all fields of teaching Turkish as a heritage language and as a foreign language. Conference languages are English and Turkish. Paper, poster and panel proposals can be submitted between May 15 and August 2, 2024. All papers will be subject to a blind review process. The results will be announced by September 1, 2024. Abstract submission guidelines for ISOHTEL 2024:
- Please use the Abstract template for your oral presentation, poster, and round table submissions. The template is available on the conference website under the "submit abstract" section.
- The abstract must be anonymized. Do not include authors' names in the abstract. Ensure your name is not mentioned in the abstract, as a reference, or in the title of the abstract document.
- Abstracts should be around 400-500 words (excluding examples and references) and include information on the subject, research question, method, and general conclusion. Please submit your abstract as an PDF document using the abstract template.
- Please highlight your presentation type (face-to-face or online).
- All abstract submissions should be made through EasyAbs.
