The 16th Linguistics Association of Ghana Annual Conference will take place at the University of Ghana, Legon from Wednesday, 21st August to Friday, 23rd August 2024. The theme for the conference is "Interfaces between Language, Literature and the Sciences". We welcome submissions which address this theme directly as well as those that address other areas of Linguistics and Literary Studies such as syntax, semantics, phonetics, phonology, sociolinguistics, pragmatics, cognitive linguistics, corpus stylistics, corpus linguistics, oral literature in Africa, forensic linguistics, language and religion, academic language and learning, language for specific purposes, language and literature, language teaching and learning, language and communication, cultural linguistics, indigenous language usage/ language endangerment, discourse analysis, language and politics, among others. Talks (paper presentations) will be 20 minutes long with an additional 10 minutes for discussion. There will also be a one hour poster presentation session. Please indicate during submission whether your abstract is for a paper or poster presentation.

-Abstracts must be submitted electronically on EasyAbs.
- Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words and should be in pdf format.
- Please indicate whether you are submitting for a paper or poster presentation.
- Please do not identify yourself in any way on the abstract or its file name/file properties.
-Authors are allowed one single-author submission, but there is no limit on the number of co-authored submissions.
-Presentations must be delivered by one or more of the individuals listed as an author on the originally submitted abstract.
-Presenters must complete registration at the time of the conference to present.
