The 5th IEEE Nigercon conference with theme "Empowering Humanity: The Future of Electro-Computing Technologies" holds from 26-28 November, 2024 and focuses on the transformative impact of advanced electro-computing technologies on society. It emphasizes how innovations in fields such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, and IoT can drive progress across various sectors, including healthcare, education, industry, and communication. The conference aims to explore cutting-edge research, foster collaborations, and discuss practical applications that enhance human capabilities, improve quality of life, and address global challenges. By bringing together experts, researchers, and practitioners, the event seeks to chart a course for the future development and integration of these technologies to benefit humanity. The interface between Engineering and Computing technologies would also be explored.
This year's Conference would be holding at the prestigious Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. Afe Babalola University boasts of modern facilities in a classic University setting and is assessable by air via the Akure Airport which is the closest. Road access is also very good as Ado Ekiti is in a central location from the North, East, West and Southern parts of the Country.
[PRESENTATION SHALL BE HYBRID]
