The TripleA workshop series was founded in 2014 by linguists from Potsdam and Tübingen with the aim of providing a platform for researchers conducting theoretically informed linguistic fieldwork on meaning. Its focus is particularly on under-represented languages from Africa, Asia, Australia and Oceania.

The 11th meeting in the TripleA workshop series will be hosted by the Laboratoire de Linguistique de Nantes (LLING UMR 6310 CNRS & Université de Nantes), Nantes (France). The conference will take place in person from 11 to 13 June 2024.

The invited speakers of this year’s edition are: Ömer Demirok (Boğaziçi University), Henrison Hsieh (Hong Kong Polytechnic University), Hadil Karawani (University of Konstanz), and Suzi Lima (University of Toronto).

The official language of the conference is English.

TripleA 11 will be followed on 14 June by a thematic workshop on temporal adjunct clauses (a.k.a. After/Before Clauses) which TripleA participants are invited to attend and/or contribute to (see ABC workshop call for papers).
